Ko Bancha Crorepati (Who Will Be a Millionaire, को बन्छ करोडपति) is a Nepali television game show based on the British Program Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. After the huge success of Nepali Idol, AP1 HD television is bringing another international franchise to Nepal. Ap1 announced, “Ko Bancha Crorepati ” will soon be aired on the television. The show will be hosted by beloved Mahanayak Rajesh Hamal. AP1 is raising bars of Nepali television industry with its high-quality contents excellent in both presentation and technical way.

KBC is a show that will be suitable for every kind of audiences from children to elderly people. The show shall involve some good humor, emotion, and most importantly lots of knowledge.

The Premiere date for the show has not been announced yet but the airing time will be 8:00-9:00 pm.

The winners of the show can win up to Rs. 1 Crore in Cash prize.

Ko Bancha Crorepati Registration Process (KBC Nepali registration)

Registration for participation is Now Open for audiences.  The selection of participants will be done using IVR and SMS System.

For Registration: Type KBC <SPACE> AGE <SPACE> GENDER and send to  31031. 

Examples :

For Female: KBC 31 F

For Male: KBC 31 M

For others: KBC 31 O

After selection, 10 of them will get a chance to play the fastest finger first round. The winner from the fastest finger first will get chance to sit in the Hot Seat with Rajesh Hamal and get a chance to win Rs. 1 Crore.

Ko Bancha Crorepati Rules (KBC Nepali rules)

The show shall follow all the original rules as defined in the International Franchise.

1. All the contestants should play preliminary round names “fastest finger first ” to get a chance to sit on the Hot Seat. In this round contestant should order 4 options in specified order for the given question. The one who completes it first will be the winner.
2. After seating on the hot seat, the contestant will be asked a total of 15 questions to win a sum of 1 Crore.
3. The contestant will get total of 4 lifelines namely ‘phone a friend’,’50-50′,’audience-poll’,’expert advice’. All of them can be used only once.
4. The contestant will get total of 30 seconds to answer each question.
5. The contestant can live the show at any times unless they have committed to a question.
6. If the answer any question wrong, they will walk with a money for the last milestone they have created. Milestones are made at specific cash prize which guarantees the prize a contestant will win.
