1905 Suites and Restaurant is a heritage boutique suite with garden dining. It actually is a former Rana residence transformed to bed and breakfast with a restaurant. The restaurant holds a top-notch ambience, a white, wood and green combo which is perfect for pictures to add to your social media accounts. - Devalaya, Jhamsikhel
Located in an “already fancy” place, Devalaya mostly magnets its customers with its exquisite interior. The restaurant has fine dining seating as well as a more casual seating outdoors. This place will be the best for you to spend some time with your friends, your partner or even alone. The impressive interior is what drags teens as it provides a good content for their Instagram or tiktok. The city view is average but all you’ll notice in there is the eye-catching interior and its aesthetic. - Sam’s One Tree Café, Durbarmarg
Like its name, it literally is a one-tree café. It has a marvelous mural with wild animals and that is one of the factors that’s been attracting its customers. It really gets fancy in there at night once the lights are on. The lights pop up the ambience. The fact that all people care about these days is good pictures, the restaurants are purposefully made highly aesthetic which obviously will bring in teens in a larger ratio. - Flavors Café & Restaurant, Bouddha
Flavors has this unique aesthetic, probably with the intention of having as many teenagers a day for Instagram and it very much succeeded with it. It’s peaceful and is great to hangout with friends for family gatherings, to celebrate birthday parties and dates. A beautiful garden with a touch of Nepali items is a creatively placed together in Garden Tea House. You can surely hear the birds chirping and the greens will soothe your mind. This place is perfect to escape into peace for when you’re frustrated. The calming aesthetic is best for outdoor photos and even better to spend some time alone.
Teens’ Interest in Aesthetic Cafés:
Teenagers are very much concerned about their ‘like-statuses’ and popularity on social media. These cafes provide them content and make them psychologically confident with their pictures. Kathmandu has restaurants and cafes with the most beautifully managed aesthetics and ambience which makes those places photo ready. Teens, as stated are fascinated by these places with the influence of movies, series and Instagram models which makes them want similar content to post on their social media accounts. The thing is, their wants has somewhat been fulfilled and teens are happy with what they have been offered with. There are many more frequently visited aesthetic restaurants and cafés which are not included on this list but this doesn’t splash the fact that they’re not aesthetic enough. There are places which in fact could be better than the ones mentioned above on the list.
